JUNIOR JARVIS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER OF JOSETTE SMITH.
Junior Jarvis, a 44-year-old marketer was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison when he appeared at the Serious Offences Court yesterday.
Jarvis is charged that on Valentine’s Day last Tuesday February 14 he entered the dwelling house of Josette Smith, of Arnos Vale as a trespasser and at the time had a weapon of offence, to wit a gun.
He is also charged with the attempted murder of Josette Smith and a further charge that he did use a 9mm Beretta pistol to aid in the commission of an offence.
Jarvis was not required to plea to the indictable offences when he appeared in court yesterday.
He was represented by lawyer Israel Bruce.
Prosecutor Elgin Richards said that Jarvis is expected to soon be charged with the murder of Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines employee Randy Lawrence, a 39-year-old Arnos Vale resident who received several gunshot wounds about his body at Arnos Vale about 7:00a.m. last Tuesday.
