You’ve likely heard the expression “Fake it till you make it.” Many times, this flies in the face of what God expects from You. There’s no “faking it” in His plan. He longs for your actions to be rooted in sincerity and honesty. He wants your trust in Him to be real, deep, and bidding.
Where does this type of sincerity come from? It begins with a genuine holy longing for the Lord. If you’re going through the motions of reading your Bible and praying if sincerity isn’t the driving force, then You need to re-examine Your core beliefs,
Have you made Jesus the Lord of Your life? Does He sit on the throne of Your heart? If not, then make things right today. When you come to Him with a sincere heart, genuinely longing for His presence, His touch, and His Word, He’s free to act on your behalf. His promises become more than possibilities; they are yours for the taking.
So, begin again. Like a babe, let Your pure longing for the Lord drive you into His arms for a heart transformation You’ll never forget.
